In the 1 minute 46 seconds video, the young men who were speaking a blend of Fulfude and French language, could be seen gesticulating in anger as they spoke.

‘’VIDEO: In Garoua, Cameroon, commercial motorcyclists are protesting the removal of petrol subsidy. They are expressing their dissatisfaction in a blend of Fulfulde and French, and criticizing President Tinubu.”
Recall that the recent announcement by President Tinubu that the Fuel subsidy regime is gone, has had rippled effects on the lives of Nigerians. The Federal government insists that Fuel subsidy is a scam and will no longer be entertained. There have been rumours that some persons collect money from the Federal government for fuel subsidy and afterwards take the subsidized products to neighbouring countries to sell and make the product available to them.
Reacting to the trending video, Nigerians are of the opinion that the anger being expressed by the commercial motorcyclists in the video, shows the importance of removing subsidy in petroleum products.
