Bolaji Idowu, the Lead pastor of Harvesters International Christian Centre, has received heat for inviting secular singer Spyro to perform in church. 

The church had a Christmas-themed event over the weekend and Spyro gave a performance of his hit song Only Fine Girl.

Skales was also at the event.

This did not go down well with a number of Nigerians and they have taken to social media to criticise him.

Some accused Pastor Bolaji of being so celebrity- centered and they shared photos of him with a number of celebrities to prove their point.

 

 

However, members have defended him, saying Sypro and Skales are members of the Church and they were simply participating in a church program like other church members do. They added thay Spyro was imply taking part in the Church’s nativity play.
